Web hosting for every need

If you run a local business, startup, or want to launch a personal website or blog, you don’t need to choose the most expensive hosting plan right from the beginning. A basic shared hosting plan is usually sufficient to meet your initial needs. You can opt for any company from our list or any other local hosting provider that meets the following technical requirements:

• Unix, Linux, or Windows operating system;
• PHP 5.6 or later (PHP 7.x or higher recommended for better performance and security);
• MySQL 5.5 or later;
• Apache server (or equivalent like Nginx);
• Memory limit per process: 64 MB (128 MB or more is recommended).

Notes:

• PHP 5.6 is now considered outdated, so it's better to recommend PHP 7.x or higher.
• Apache is widely used, but mentioning Nginx as an alternative might be useful as it’s also common in web hosting environments.

eCommerce Requirements:

• Unix, Linux, or Windows operating system;
• PHP 7.4 or later (PHP 5.4 is outdated and not secure for modern eCommerce platforms);
• MySQL 5.7 or later (for better performance and security, or MariaDB as an alternative);
• Apache 2.4 or later (Apache 1.3 is very outdated; consider Nginx as a modern alternative if needed);
• At least 512 MB of RAM on your server (128 MB is insufficient for most modern eCommerce platforms; 1 GB or more is ideal for optimal performance).

Key Updates:

• PHP 5.4 is obsolete, and most modern eCommerce platforms require PHP 7.4 or higher for security and performance.
• Apache 1.3 is outdated, so using Apache 2.4 or later is recommended.
• 128 MB of RAM is very low for an eCommerce website. At least 512 MB or more is recommended for basic functionality, and 1 GB or more for better performance, especially with traffic growth.

Magento Requirements:

• Linux (RedHat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), CentOS, Ubuntu, Debian) operating system;
• PHP 7.4 or later (PHP 7.1.3 is outdated; PHP 7.4 or higher is recommended for better security and performance);
• MySQL 5.7 or later (MariaDB 10.2 or later can also be used);
• Apache 2.4 (Apache 2.2 is outdated and not recommended for modern Magento versions; Nginx is an alternative);
• At least 2GB of RAM on your server (this is a reasonable minimum, but more RAM is preferable for high-traffic stores).
